Donphan makes a great OU spinner today due to its High Def and durability. Earthquake is for STAB. Ice Shard nails most dragons very hard causing a 4x weakness alos finishes worn down pokes. Rapid Spin entry hazards out of the way they can cause trouble late game. As for the last slot Stone Edge deals with Gyarados. Seed Bomb hits and kills swampert, hurts other bulky waters to. Stealth Rock is a good setup. Roar if the opponent tries and setups using something like "Swords Dance". Knock Off is good in ss teams, since leftovers won't help ss damage.

Donphan has a massive attack stat so slapping on Choice Band is a excellent option. Earthquake for STAB. Stone Edge will hit super hard on fliers normally will OHKO if super effective. Ice Shard finishes off weakened down pokes and deals with dragons. The last slot consits of Seed Bomb, Fire Fang, or Rapid Spin. This donphan is ev'd to outspeed the standard Swampert, you may wanna OHKO them with Seed Bomb. Fire Fang will hit Skarmory and Bronzong, but will murder Forretress and Scizor. Rapid Spin to get rid of entry hazards, this is the last option since you will be stuck and a force switch will be made after the entry hazards are gone.

Opinon
Donphan is not a bad pokemon. He wall and sweep.

Counters
Bulky Water types easily wall Donphan if hes not packing Seed Bomb, even still Donphan has to watch out. Donphan gets walled easily by Tangrowth and Celebii. Bronzong and Skarmory always wall donphan if he doesn't have Fire Fang and he must be choice banded. Cresselia can take any hit and recover health by using "Rest" or "Moonlight".

Other Options
Donphan can OHKO gyardos if not itmitadated with thunder fang. Counter can come in suprise and murder sweepers. Body Slam has a slim chance for paralyze. Posion Jab hits ok on Grass Types.
